- Until we set up a not-for-profit organisation (NFPO) - something which takes time and money, we will be running as follows...
- Alivate Pty Ltd is backing the website, lobby and alternative technology projects
- Alternative technology projects include: research, designs and collaboration on creating alternative solutions for an affordable NBN.
- Donations are received as payment for services - outsourced lobbying
- The services are provided under the following conditions:
- Alivate Pty Ltd agrees that donated monies may only be used for the purposes of NoNBN.org
- Alivate Pty Ltd agrees that alternative technologies developed for this campaign may not be sold as intellectual property of Alivate. Hard to do anyway
seeing we're freely telling everyone about it.
- Alivate Pty Ltd agrees to continue operation of NoNBN.org and all associated ventures, should such support become
unworkable for Alivate Pty Ltd, Alivate Pty Ltd will donate remaining donor pool to a major reputable charity, or an existing
NFPO which can continue the NoNBN.org cause
- Alivate Pty Ltd makes no guarantees of the ability to successfully carry out the goals of NoNBN.org
- Alivate Pty Ltd will report received donations and expenses paid for, by donated money, this information will be kept up to date, as
new transactions are carried out.
- Donors have the right to request up to date donation information and receive a reply within 7 days
- Alivate Pty Ltd endeavour to pursue availability of the website NoNBN.org. As the website is hosted by an external company
Alivate Pty Ltd makes no guarantees of the availability of the website NoNBN.org
- Alivate Pty Ltd will forward all donations to the NFPO should one be formed
- All donations are not refundable, as doing so would be a headache.
- On success of NoNBN lobby, money will be used to further research into NFP alternative technologies projects.
- Should both alternative technology projects and the NoNBN lobby become unviable or fail, all donations will be donated
on to United Way.
- In the event that donation account levels exceed the required amount, a notice will be displayed on the website, excess donations will be held until
one of the conditions for donation release occurs or new expenses arise.
- You may ask for a receipt for any donation - under corporate law we must comply
- Please let us know if there are any other conditions which you think should be added for peace of mind
