We want the public to know the real facts. There is already ample bandwidth potential already out there ready to be switched on and future potential in Wireless technology,
where the greatest demand exists - for "Everywhere Access"
If the Government pursues the Fibre to the Premises plan, expect to be using Fibre for your Christmas Decorations in 10 years.
Ask the Government to abandon "Fibre to the Premises" and do proper research into the real NEEDS of Australians. Please sign our petition, and tell your friends.

- This graph shows statistics for each wage bracket (Weekly)
- The Government has indicated monthly internet costs will rise under the NBN - higher than $100 per month for entry level plans.
- According to statistics, only wealthier people are more likely to have internet
- So, we need more affordable internet / communication, not a "Fibre to the Premises" NBN
- Also, the Government needs to capture 80% of the communication market
- A group, representing 16% of the Australian population doesn't have broadband and they earn less than $400 / week
- How are they going to achieve 80% when low income earners can't even afford the internet today!?

- This graph shows productivity compared to data volume usage (in MB)
- It shows how the most productive applications, only need little bandwidth
- Even the much hyped Smart Grid and eHealth are low bandwidth
- Those who have broadband today, could watch HD TV
- The Government claims that the NBN will improve productivity
- It's clear that this is not true
